MEET CECILIA

Love where you live. I’m a John L. Scott® Broker and proud Maple Valley resident, helping buyers and sellers make confident real estate moves throughout Maple Valley and the surrounding Southeast King County cities. After moving from California a few years ago, I quickly became deeply connected to this vibrant community and now I channel that local insight and enthusiasm into real estate.

My professional journey has always centered around people and relationships. From sales to staffing and recruiting to hospitality, every role I’ve held has been about building meaningful connections and serving others well. That background naturally led me to real estate, where I blend my experience in recruiting and hospitality, with a steadfast commitment to the residents of Maple Valley and the surrounding areas. As part of the John L. Scott family, I uphold the values of hard work, integrity, and exceptional client service in everything I do, and I’m honored to be recognized as a John L. Scott Emerald Award recipient.

I work with buyers and sellers at all stages, whether you’re purchasing your first home, upsizing, downsizing, or preparing a listing for the market. My clients count on me for strong negotiation, clear and proactive communication, and a calm, solutions?oriented approach when challenges arise. I take a client?first, education?focused approach, breaking down each step so you always understand what’s happening, what’s ahead, and what your options are.

Because I live in Maple Valley and serve the surrounding cities, I love helping clients get to know the lifestyle as much as the listings. From afternoons at Lake Wilderness Arboretum or Lake Wilderness Park to favorite local spots like Cascadia Pizza Co., Sumo Sushi, or Sonora Steak, this area offers a genuine sense of community and connection. I bring that local perspective into every transaction, helping you understand not just the home, but the neighborhood, commute, and everyday rhythm of life here.

Community and family are at the heart of everything for me. We’re proud to have our children in the Tahoma School District, known for strong academics and community engagement, and we love being involved in Tahoma Jr. Bears activities. Being rooted here and giving back to the community we call home is incredibly important to us.

Beyond the world of real estate, you’ll often find me enjoying a yummy glass of wine or a local craft beer and exploring the beauty of the outdoors. In my own backyard, I happily lean into my role as an amateur green thumb, tending vibrant blooms and experimenting with new plants. I’m also exploring yoga and Pilates as part of my wellness journey. I find joy in traveling, whether it’s discovering new destinations or heading back to California to reconnect with loved ones and I thrive on embracing the diverse adventures life has to offer. I call Maple Valley home, where I live with my husband, Angelo, and our twins, Xavier and Charlize, who currently have full-on puppy fever and keep life lively and full of anticipation.

Whether you’re buying or selling in Maple Valley or the surrounding cities, I’m here to guide you with honesty, energy, and care. Call me anytime with questions, I’m here to help.

It's all about providing exceptional, full-service residential real estate expertise. I take pride in making my clients the priority, ensuring that every aspect of their real estate needs is met with excellence and delivering the best possible results.

Expertise

The real estate market is hyperlocal, seasonal and temperamental—in other words, it can change on a dime. Technology has made information more accessible to everyone, but it can be difficult to keep up with recent events that affect home values. The benefits of working with a licensed real estate professional go far beyond what a mobile app, online video, or website can do.

I provide my clients with information on market seasonality and information relevant to what is happening in their specific neighborhood. This customized analysis includes recent comparable sales that factor into an offer and acceptance strategy.

Negotiations

Successful negotiations help move a conversation forward and transform the process into an agreement that’s a win for all parties. Negotiation is not only a skill, but a mindset. I keep my clients’ best interests top of mind as I negotiate on their behalf.

Transactional Excellence

I am dedicated to transactional excellence for every listing and sale. What this means for you is that I oversee every detail of the real estate transaction. The transaction is far from over once an offer has been accepted. I monitor inspections, appraisals, title, escrow and loan processes. Communication and collaboration with all the partners and parties involved with the transaction ensures a smooth and timely closing. I am committed to my clients before, during and after a sale.

MAPLE VALLEY

Ready for a journey through Maple Valley?

One of the safest cities in the country, Maple Valley is a vibrant and growing community surrounded by the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Education is a true priority here. The Tahoma School District is supported by an incredible community of dedicated staff and engaged parents working together to help students thrive. Tahoma High School proudly ranks in the top 5% nationwide.

For families, recreation is just as important as academics. Maple Valley offers incredible opportunities for kids to get involved, build confidence, and create lasting friendships. Programs like Tahoma Jr. Bears, Valor Soccer, and Maple Valley Parks & Recreation provide year-round sports, camps, and activities for all ages. My own kids participate in these programs, and it’s been such a gift to watch them grow as teammates and members of this supportive community, not just as athletes.

And while schools and sports shine, community spirit truly sets Maple Valley apart. From the annual Fishing Derby in April to Make a Difference Day in October, neighbors show up for one another. The holiday season is especially magical, with the beloved Gnome for the Holidays celebration, festive tree lightings, and meeting Santa when the Jerry Woods Holiday Fire Engine passes by your neighborhood to collect canned goods. December brings the community together in the most charming way, and Maple Valley Days.

Homes here are as diverse as the community itself. From modern townhomes to peaceful farmhouses (yes, even with alpacas!), you’ll find a variety of lifestyles to suit your needs. Whether you prefer tree-lined neighborhoods or acreage with privacy, Maple Valley offers something for everyone. Outdoor enthusiasts love Lake Wilderness Park, featuring stunning Mt. Rainier views, lake access, walking trails, and even a golf course.

It’s the everyday moments that truly make Maple Valley feel like home. The Gnome Trail is a family favorite, you have the opportunity to “Home a Gnome”. The Gnome Trail is a charming, kid-friendly hike we’ve enjoyed ever since moving here. Saturdays are often spent at the Maple Valley Farmers Market, discovering local goods, fresh produce, and the most beautiful floral arrangements. It’s these simple, meaningful experiences, combined with strong schools and a connected community that make Maple Valley such a special place to live.

Curious about Maple Valley? I’d love to help you explore the community and find the perfect place to call home.
